American Lawn Lights replicas come equipped with a 40 Watt (maximum) incandescent white light bulb as standard.

Order your replica in Cedar Wood with the 40 Watt light and exterior wiring options (both of which are included in the base price) and simply plug the grounded power cord into an outside electrical outlet. You can use your house switch or a timer circut to turn the light on and off.

Available options are the Photo-Electric Cell which will light your replica from dusk to dawn and the Security Cable to discourage unauthorized "lighthouse moves".

You may replace the standard 40 watt bulb with a lower wattage light bulb for special effect lighting using commercially available 7.5 or 25 watt, medium base "A15" or "G16.5" shaped appliance style bulbs.

The pair of replicas pictured at right light up our front yard at night. Both are equipped with 40 Watt Bulbs and can be turned on and off from a switch inside our house. They also have the Photo-Electric Cell and Security Cable Options.

Using the Photo-Cell allows you leave the power turned on with the replica's light off when leaving your house during the day. The Photo-Cell will activate the light at dusk and you will be guided home by your own lighthouse light(s) when returning after dark.

We also can turn them on (or off) by the house switch so they don't have to be lit all night (the Photo-Cell works from dusk to dawn). Sometimes we just switch them on to illuminate the yard to see if there are any skunks (or other nasty critters) outside waiting for us to walk our dog at night!
