Some links on this page are general links to the site rather than to a specific lighthouse that previously appeared in the link when you viewed it from one of my lighthouse pages.

American Lighthouse Foundation  A non profit organization dedicated to saving America's lighthouses and their history. The ALF currently has stewardship responsibility for 22 lighthouses both directly and through several area chaptors. Based in Rockland, Maine, the ALF has many of its historical artifacts on display in the Maine Lighthouse Museum. ALF lighthouses currently featured by American Lawn Lights are the Little River, Long Point, Owls Head, Pemaquid Point, Portsmouth Harbor, Race Point and Wood End Lighthouses.

The 'Sconset Trust is a non profit organization that maintains conservation land in and around the village of Siasconset on Nantucket Island and has now rescued the Sankaty Head Lighthouse from erosion. A partnership of the City of Annapolis, Annapolis Maritime Museum, Anne Arundel County, Chesapeake Chapter of the US Lighthouse Society and the US Lighthouse Society, this organization is working hard to restore and preserve this historic lighthouse. They provide news and photos of their progress as well as historical information and photos of the Thomas Point Shoal lighthouse.
