Replicas ordered for indoor use are wired with standard interior 2 wire, 16 gauge power cords. This is the standard power cord used in lamps and small appliances and is not rated for outdoor use.
This option is recommended if your replica will be plugged into an outlet controlled by a wall switch or you plan to unplug the replica when not in use.
This option uses the same wiring as the Indoor Use Only option with the addition of an On/Off Switch. The cord is wired through a rocker switch. This option is not waterproof and is not rated for outdoor use.
This option is recommended if the replica is to be powered from an un-switched outlet and you don't want to have to un-plug it when not in use.
Replicas intended for outdoor use are wired with a medium duty, exterior 3 wire 16 gauge power cord. This cord includes a molded 3 prong - grounded plug and is rated for outdoor use.
This option is recommended for replicas that will be permanently or seasonally located outdoors and be exposed to the elements. Using this option, power must be controlled by a switched circuit or a timer control.
This option uses the same exterior power cord as the Outdoor Only option with the addition of a Photo-Electric Cell switch mounted in the replica to control the lighting. The photo-electric cell senses the ambient light and turns on the replica's light bulb only when it is dark outside.
This option is recommended to operate your replica from dusk to dawn. The light will stay off when it is light out even with the power turned on. This option can be used along with a switched circuit or timer control to further control how long your light operates at night.
